We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cake Decorator to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master cake decorating techniques and product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
• Follow proper procedures to ensure high-quality products and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Apply merchandising principles to generate sales and create an engaging shopping experience.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and answering questions about our products.
• Prepare and decorate cakes for display, ensuring code dating procedures are followed and only the freshest products are available.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the back room, coolers, and freezers.
• Assist in maintaining bakery efficiency by unloading deliveries and performing other tasks as needed.
