Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor

Puratos is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor to lead our safety-first culture and inspire team members to prioritize their own safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs to support an injury-free goal
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and recommend preventative solutions
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Drive behavioral safety programs and engage in continuous improvement efforts
  • Partner with Human Resources to incorporate employee health and well-being initiatives
  • Analyze data to institute changes to lead to a safer environment
  • Supervise the creation and delivery of safety training programs
Requirements:
  • 2-year Associate degree in an EHS-related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in EHS manufacturing responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of OSHA compliance rules and guidelines
  • Hands-on leader with a high level of initiative
  • Analytical ability
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and learning new systems
