The Travel CVOR Technologist plays a critical role in the cardiac care unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This position requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in various cardiac procedures.

Certification Requirements
  • AHA Certification: Only AHA certifications are accepted; RQI is also valid.
  • Specialty Requirements: Required for specific nursing specialties at designated facilities, including but not limited to Cath Lab, CC Step-Down, CCU, CVICU, Dialysis, Endoscopy/GI, ER, ICU, L&D, MICU, Neuro ICU, NICU, OR, Outpatient Surgery, PACU, Pre-Op, SICU, Telemetry, and Transplant.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • AWONN Intermediate: Required for Labor & Delivery RNs.
  • National Tech Certification Verification

Job Specifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • On-Call Duty: Must be available for on-call shifts.
  • Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate high proficiency in all aspects of cardiac cases.

  • Certification Renewal: If any certification is set to expire within 30 days of the start date, renewal must be completed prior to commencement.

  • HIPAA Compliance: Acknowledgment is required and must be updated annually.
  • License Verification: Required within 30 days of the start date.
  • Active License: All candidates must possess an active LA License or Compact License upon submission.
  • NURSYS Verification: Required within 30 days of the start date.
  • CPI Card Renewal: Candidates must renew their CPI cards through Ochsner.
  • Annual Updates: All certifications must be updated annually.
