Central Rent-A-Crane, Inc. is seeking a skilled Crane and Heavy Duty Truck Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package in a casual office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate records, logs, and schedules of calls, vehicles, and actions taken.
- Prepare detailed reports on activities during shifts and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure correct files are maintained for safety, DOT/FMCSA, and insurance requirements.
- Secure permits and escorts as necessary.
- Track and collect expense reports for crane operators, oilers, and truck drivers.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and collect documentation for union employees.
- Coordinate drug testing, road tests, and operator evaluations.
- Conduct training for ATOM, Samsara, and company documents.
- Order and set up accounts for new employees on devices.
- Ensure company drivers maintain compliance with regulations and policies.
- Review logs, verify completeness, and work with drivers on training as needed.
- Review DVIRs and work with the service department to ensure timely repairs.
- Create and collect fuel mileage logs.
- Assist with audits of company vehicles to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Experience in trucking and dispatch functions.
- Knowledge of the permitting process for oversize loads.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed.
- Able to sit for long periods and use phone, computer, and other office equipment.
