Charge Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
- Use the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care.
- Administer standard nursing treatments and medications, and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects.
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings.
- Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
- Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities.
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Current license in good standing in New York as an Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
- Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
