Job Title: Electrical Construction Estimator - Project Manager

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Estimator to join our team at Superior Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and completing bid documents and estimations for electrical works.

Responsibilities:
• Manage bid documents for electrical projects or works;
• Prepare detailed electrical estimates based on limited conceptual design;
• Attend meetings about budget and estimation;
• Verify and revise the content of BOQ (Bill of Quantities);
• Prepare unit prices for new items other than the contracted and documentation with supporting data;
• Calculate the quantity and create quantity take-offs for bid drawings and revise it whenever drawings are updated;
• Develop and manage subcontractors to create competitive quotes;
• Analyze and report on labor cost change trends;
• Analyze unit costs and report results for quotes submitted after bidding;
• Prepare and revise the base unit price tables for bids and quotes to be submitted to customers.

Qualifications:
• Positive attitude towards participating in project site walks;
• 5+ years of experience in industrial and commercial fields;
• Availability of 'RSmeans';
• BA degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field (preferred);
• Experience in estimating multimillion-dollar projects (preferred);
• Excellent communication skills with clients to create favorable outcomes;
• Strong understanding of electrical installation/repairs, materials, and code requirements;
• Ability to read and understand engineered drawings and wiring diagrams;
• Flexibility to work well with others in a team environment.

Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
