We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team at Master Center for Addiction Medicine. As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through the recovery process, providing guidance, and promoting a culture of hope and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct coaching interviews to assess patient readiness for change and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide peer support and education to patients, promoting a comprehensive understanding of addiction and recovery
  • Collaborate with medical providers and therapy teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document patient progress and provide regular updates to medical providers
  • Participate in on-call duties and provide support to patients outside of regular business hours
Requirements:
  • Completed 72-hour PRS training required by DBHDS
  • 2 years or more of personal sustained recovery
  • Per DBHDS requirements, candidates must not have committed any barrier crimes
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist preferred
  • Strong leadership and training/mentoring skills
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to share recovery experience and convey empathy
