Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lab Phlebotomist to join our team at Bon Secours. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy and other specimen collection procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
  • Enter orders and accession specimens into the laboratory information system.
  • Perform centrifugation, aliquoting, and other laboratory procedures as needed.
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate records of specimen collection and testing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
Requirements
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1 year of phlebotomy experience (preferred)
  • Basic phlebotomy training (preferred)
