We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Assistant LPN or RN to join our team at Mercy Clinic J St. Internal Medicine. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our providers in their daily work.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for visits with providers by completing advanced standard room processes, including medication reconciliation and documentation in Epic.
- Assist with in-office testing, such as drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed and collaborate with providers and the clinical care team to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.
- Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic experience.
- 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
- Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 for continuing education.
- Health, dental, and vision benefits available after day one.
- Annual contribution of $100 per month to eligible co-workers enrolled in the Dependent Care FSA.
