Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a seasoned CSA Estimator to deliver precise Civil, Structural, and Architectural estimates and cost consulting services. This role is pivotal in achieving client objectives through effective construction cost management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present comprehensive cost plans.
  • Estimate costs at various stages, including conceptual and detailed levels.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies and prepare procurement documentation.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including pre-qualification, bid analysis, and contract documentation.
  • Engage in post-contract cost management and change control processes.
  • Conduct cost checks and valuations on significant projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Generate monthly cost reports and present findings to clients.
  • Participate in value engineering discussions and finalize accounts.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and consultants throughout project phases.
  • Lead the cost management team as required, ensuring accountability in deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for business development with existing clients.
  • Propose enhancements to cost management processes and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Strong technical background in all areas of cost management, including pre-contract and post-contract phases.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procurement methods.
  • Experience in advising clients on value management and lifecycle costing.
  • Familiarity with business development practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge across various industry sectors.
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in large-scale CSA cost estimation.
  • Expertise in Civil, Structural, and Architectural estimating within relevant industries.
