Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL code to ensure database stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Bring 100k LoC codebase into a structured development lifecycle (SDLC), including version control and testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy within a complex business environment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive database documentation.
  • Manage database releases and deployments to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Perform performance profiling and query tuning to optimize database performance.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify trends and insights, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with database technology, including database administration, development, and data engineering.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing, relational databases, and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) technologies.
  • Experience with Azure SQL, performance profiling, query tuning, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Proficient in manipulating and transforming various data formats, including JSON and XML.
  • Experience with integrations using various data sources, including MuleSoft.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English is required for this role.
