Key Responsibilities:
This role involves leading transaction execution within the company's three main commercial segments: utility-scale solar and storage, distributed energy (including community and commercial solar, and microgrids), and standalone battery storage. Core duties include:
- Providing financial and commercial oversight for structuring, negotiating, and closing various project finance transactions, such as acquisitions, construction and term loan financing, tax equity, and asset sales.
- Managing M&A processes from initial strategy and due diligence to preparing internal memos, negotiating contracts, and overseeing external advisors.
- Mentoring and guiding project finance analysts and associates in their day-to-day analysis and transactional tasks.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams in M&A activities, including teams focused on land management, development, engineering, and legal aspects.
- Assisting the development team by offering financial analysis and strategic input for commercial structuring and risk management.
- Supporting senior management with financial analysis to inform company strategy, project decisions, and negotiations.
- Handling NDA processes and drafting letters of intent for various transactions.
- Overseeing project management tools and tracking key milestones.
- Traveling for due diligence activities and representing the company at meetings and industry events.
- Conducting industry and market research, including competitive analysis.
