Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven Senior Engineer to enhance our Engineering - Remediation Practice. This role is integral to our team in providing technical design and oversight for environmental remediation initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Project Managers and technical leads, contributing to the successful execution of challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, while assisting in the bidding process.
- Lead and manage complex environmental projects through various phases, from investigation to post-construction reporting.
- Utilize technical expertise to ensure comprehensive project delivery, particularly in compliance with local regulations.
- Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills, fostering collaboration within project teams.
- Adapt engineering best practices across a range of projects, showcasing flexibility and responsiveness to client needs.
- Engage in all project aspects, including design development, construction management, and client interactions.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, budgets, and schedules for complex projects.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required for project needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution; advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required; Wisconsin license is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, focusing on remediation projects.
- OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential.
- Proficient in technical writing and communication, with strong computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Valid driver's license is required.
