Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and document patient data, including medical history, allergies, and current medications.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document any adverse reactions or concerns.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, including quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in obstetrics and nursing.
Requirements
  • Current, valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
  • At least two years of prior Labor and Delivery experience, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as weekends and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
