Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Shuttle Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in the operation of our business by transporting empty trailers to our warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. This is a full-time position with a Sunday-Thursday schedule starting at 6PM and finishing at the end of the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
* Drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedules, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
* Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines and park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
* Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailers and complete necessary paperwork.
* Unload all equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required.
* Complete daily records of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
* Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean as required.

Requirements:

* CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to work a Sunday-Thursday schedule starting at 6PM and finishing at the end of the shift.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally.
* Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
