As a key member of this team, you will engage with leading experts in the opto-electronic field, utilizing state-of-the-art high-speed lab equipment.

Your responsibilities will include the characterization and testing of advanced 100G and 200G PAM-4 optical modules, configuring sophisticated DSP-based SerDes, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.

You will perform system tests in collaboration with top manufacturers and operators, troubleshoot hardware challenges alongside integrated optics and electronics teams, and contribute to the ongoing updates of technical documentation in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate within a premier team of opto-electronic specialists, employing advanced high-speed lab equipment to initiate, characterize, and test 100G and 200G PAM-4 optical modules for machine learning and AI applications.

Characterize high-speed analog integrated circuits and configure DSP-based SerDes from leading vendors to ensure seamless integration with our optical modules.

Guarantee compliance of modules with IEEE Ethernet, OIF CEI, and PCIe Gen5/6 standards along with specific customer requirements. Develop comprehensive test benches and specifications for production testing.

Conduct system evaluations with leading machine learning, AI, data communication, and telecommunications manufacturers. Work collaboratively on resolving hardware issues with integrated optics and high-speed electronics teams.

Analyze and interpret measurement data to inform product definition, design, and debugging processes.


Qualifications:

A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Hands-on experience in the experimental characterization of DSP-based high-speed optical communication systems.

Proficiency in using optical and high-speed electronics testing and measurement instruments.

Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.

Familiarity with Python tools for scientific computing, ADS simulations, and high-speed optical Ethernet (100G, 200G), PCIe Gen 5/6 is a plus.
