Job Title: Automation Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team at MetroPlus Health Plan. As an Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining automation tests for our Salesforce and other system applications. You will work closely with our development team to design and implement regression test solutions, evaluate code for unit testing, and manage tests using Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build automation tests for Salesforce and other system applications
  • Establish regression test solutions and evaluate code for unit testing
  • Manage tests using Azure DevOps and leverage knowledge of Functinize or similar tools for efficient test automation
  • Inspect test results to identify potential defects and execute existing unit tests against revised code
  • Collaborate with developers to design functional unit tests and exhibit in-depth knowledge of software engineering principles
  • Organize and lead review meetings within the team and ensure software consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems
  • Review software documentation to understand testing requirements and refine test cases and prioritize testing tasks
  • Offer insights on test scenarios, risks, resources, and estimates during planning and conduct reversion tests upon code changes
  • Implement test cases, report defects, and grade their severity and importance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5 years of proven experience in automated testing, preferably in Salesforce and related platforms
  • Familiarity with testing platforms such as Functinize
  • Strong coding proficiency in VB.Net, C#, Apex Java, and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge using Azure DevOps
  • Solid grasp of software engineering principles, especially SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Collaborative and team-oriented attitude
