Position Overview

Sparc The World is seeking a highly skilled Investment Data Scientist to join our dynamic Investment Data Science Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to inform investment decisions, leveraging your expertise in data science and commercial acumen.
  • Collaborate closely with investment teams and company leaders to develop and implement data-centric strategies that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain advanced data tools and products to enhance investment processes and support deal teams.
  • Provide critical support in live due diligence, translating complex data into actionable insights under tight deadlines.
  • Oversee value creation projects in portfolio companies, from strategy to execution.
  • Engage in sophisticated data analysis, including feature engineering, analytics, and hypothesis testing.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of direct Data Science experience required.
  • College degree and above in a STEM field.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills for complex data analysis.
  • Proficiency in machine learning techniques and handling large datasets.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud computing and Git version control systems.
