Job Title: Senior Lead Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Engineer to join our team in Quantico, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining chillers, boilers, and site building systems, as well as supervising leads and shift engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain chillers, boilers, and site building systems
  • Supervise leads and shift engineers
  • Maintain a safe and efficient workplace
  • Manage PM issuance and closure, including coordination of subcontractors
  • Conduct periodic inspections and monitor equipment and systems
  • Respond to alarms and record data in operating logs
  • Use test equipment and analyze results
  • Record and report faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences
  • Input data, analyze, and generate reports from CMMS database
  • Familiarize with emergency plans and responses
  • Respond to service calls and take corrective action
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • EPA CFC Universal Certification
  • Journeyman HVAC License or Second Grade Stationary License in VA/MD/DC
  • At least 5-7 years of experience
  • Technical knowledge of Building Automation System, Centrifugal Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Fire and Water Tube Boilers, Air Handling Units, Variable Air Volume, Fan Coil Unit, and Chemical Treatment
  • Familiarity with emergency systems, including redundancy, isolation, change over, and shut down of all utilities and mission critical systems
  • Experience in Central Plant/Chiller, Electrical, Emergency Power systems, General Repairs, Package Units, Pneumatic Controls, Water Treatment, Fire Life Safety, Building Automated Systems
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, BAS, and CMMS database
  • Top Secret Clearance
