About the Role:

Pushpay is seeking a skilled Full Stack Javascript Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software systems with a focus on high-volume, low-latency projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, maintenance, and improvement of scalable software systems.
  • Apply standard techniques and limited judgment to solve complex problems, with increased autonomy and responsibility.
  • Perform advanced debugging, write automated testing scripts, and identify opportunities for refactoring code.
  • Collaborate across teams, coordinating development efforts and sharing knowledge with peers to ensure project success.
  • Continuously improve code quality by writing efficient, high-quality, and testable Javascript/Typescript code using frameworks such as React, Jest and Playwright.

Requirements:
  • Strong programming skills with experience in Javascript languages and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in debugging, writing automated tests, and solving technical challenges independently or with minimal supervision.
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Initiative in learning new technologies, developing expertise in your area of focus, and contributing to continuous improvement in processes and code quality.
  • Accountability for your work, with a focus on meeting performance metrics such as GitHub contributions, velocity, and DORA benchmarks for software reliability and efficiency.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

This role consistently operates standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is largely a sedentary role but may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, or standing as necessary.
