Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing medical assessments and be proficient in reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal. Responsibilities include:
    Reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal
    Performing comprehensive assessments on each veteran
    Completing Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ's) through the Web Portal
    Documenting exam findings needed by the VA
    Minimum of 2 days/week travel around ND and others can be Telehealth
    Reviewing and assessing 4 Veterans per day on average

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must hold a current license as a Physiatrist and be Board Certified in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R or Psychiatry and Neurology. Additionally, you should be proficient at finding key data points within large electronic medical records, able to analyze data from the medical records and exam findings to complete the DBQ's and form medical opinions, and possess strong typing skills.

About the Position
This is an Independent Medical Assessment role, which means you will not make disability determinations. The VA makes all disability determinations. This position only provides assessments. You will be working with a team that is passionate about serving Veterans in their community.
