About the Role

This remote position requires extensive travel across regional areas, with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services. As a key member of the Medical Group Alaska team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with clinical providers, and ensuring seamless administrative processes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist attending clinical providers in various aspects of patient care, including medical histories, injections, and lab procedures.
  • Accurately receive and execute clinical staff/provider orders, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, venipuncture, and lab specimen preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Chaperone during examinations as required, upholding professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Manage front office duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry, filing, and inventory management.
  • Verify information through dialogue with clinical providers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
  • Collaborate with providers and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate report submissions, potentially assisting in report preparation and delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent GED, with additional years of experience considered in lieu of education.
  • Graduation from a state-approved and accredited licensed practical nurse/licensed vocational nurse diploma or certificate program, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in Primary Care, Family Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or ER settings.
  • Current proficiency in manual vitals, EKGs, blood draws, and venipuncture.
  • A clean and clear LPN/LVN license, with a valid, current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse by the state Board of Nursing.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification with the American Heart Association, required for hire.
  • A Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) to operate across the U.S., prior to hire.
  • A valid U.S. Driver's License and ability/willingness to drive between work locations.
  • Residency in a state within the nursing compact, with residence within 50 miles (or less) of a major U.S. airport.
  • The ability to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
Compensation and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive hourly salary, ranging from $32.00 to $41.00 per hour, depending on experience level. Additionally, eligibility for a quarterly bonus up to 6% is available.
