Nursing Attendant I Position

The County of Los Angeles, CA is seeking a skilled Nursing Attendant I to join our team. As a Nursing Attendant I, you will provide basic nursing services to patients in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor patient condition and report any changes to registered nurses or physicians.
- Take and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
- Move patients safely and efficiently between wards or rooms.
- Contribute to patient comfort and well-being by rearranging bedding, serving meals, and responding to requests for personal services.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatments.
- Turn and position patients to prevent pressure sores.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients by cleaning up spills and maintaining a clean and orderly ward.
- Encourage ambulatory patients to participate in their own care.
- Supervise children in recreational activities and social relationships.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant by the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
