Emergency Department Critical Care Coordinator

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Critical Care Coordinator to join our team. This critical role plays a vital part in providing timely, efficient, and effective acute care to patients in the emergency department.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Nursing Staff: Work closely with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery to patients.
- Assessment and Treatment: Perform patient assessments, administer treatments, and manage medications as per the National Scope of Practice for Paramedics.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited paramedic education program.
- Work Experience: 3 years of pre-hospital care experience necessary; Critical Care Paramedic experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Basic airway skills.
- Immobilization skills.
- IV therapy skills.
- Oxygen and ventilation administration skills.
- Bleeding control and shock management skills.
- Effective communication and documentation abilities.
- Patient movement and equipment handling capabilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in critical care provision.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $22.39 - $33.09 per hour, with differential rates of $4.25 (evenings), $8.00 (nights), and $4.75 (weekends).
