Position Overview:
The Server is responsible for delivering top-tier hospitality to guests in a dynamic and high-volume setting. The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $12 to $15.

For Part-Time Positions:
Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

OVG offers part-time, seasonal, and internship employees one hour of accrued paid leave for every 30 hours worked, accumulating up to 48 hours annually.


Continuous Application Acceptance Responsibilities:
- Proficiently interpret and execute Banquet Event Orders.
- Carry a minimum of 8 entrees per tray.
- Deliver fine dining quality food and beverage service to guests during events, adhering to OVG's service standards.
- Establish and maintain cordial and professional interactions with guests, ensuring all needs are anticipated and fulfilled.

- Set up and manage food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the venue, consistent with OVG's service standards.

- Oversee inventory for food and beverage stations.
- Keep all event areas and front-of-house staging areas orderly and organized.
- Participate in both the setup and breakdown of food and beverage service items.

- Work independently during less busy periods.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

- Engage in high levels of social interaction.
- Collaborate closely with staff and frequently interact with patrons.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
- Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of work.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Handle and transport objects as needed.
- Exhibit a customer-focused, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Have a basic understanding of arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching.
- Lift, push, pull, or carry heavy items weighing up to 30 lbs. and frequently 15 lbs.
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

- Address simple complaints or inquiries from customers and members of the business community.


Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent GED is strongly preferred.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurants is preferred.
- Must be at least eighteen years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
