We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Baton Rouge General. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic exams, monitoring patient care quality, and evaluating patient data to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic exams using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care quality, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and treatment.
- Evaluate patient data, including medical history, symptoms, and test results, to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Louisiana state license to perform radiography.
- 1-2 years of experience as a radiographer, preferred.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
