The Residential Repaint Sales Representative is a key role within our organization, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the residential repaint market segment. This position involves securing new wholesale accounts and nurturing existing customer relationships.

This role requires a strategic approach to sales, with a focus on conducting product demonstrations, developing territory market strategies, and coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the residential repaint market and be able to effectively communicate the value of our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow profits and expand our customer base
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers
  • Generate leads and prepare sales contracts
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales performance

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience as an assistant store or branch operations manager for Sherwin-Williams
  • Experience conducting outside sales calls
  • Associate degree in business, sales, or marketing
  • Experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Proficiency in timekeeping and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
