Oncology Treatment Coordinator

As a Medical Dosimetrist-Radiation Therapy at UNC Health Care, you will play a vital role in the administration of radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients. This challenging yet rewarding position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for oncology patients, working closely with radiation oncologists and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in dosages and delivery methods.
- Maintaining detailed records of patient treatments, including radiation dosages, equipment settings, and patient responses, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
- Board-certified or eligible in radiation therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or CAHEA-approved Radiation Therapy Technologist program.
- Demonstrated experience working with radiation therapy equipment, software, and technology, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
