About the Role

Under the direction of the Laboratory Medical Director and the Laboratory Department Director, the Medical Technologist Lead plays a crucial role in establishing laboratory goals and objectives, supervising all aspects of the laboratory, and ensuring that departmental maintenance, quality control, and inventory requirements are met.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise laboratory procedures as instructed by attending physicians
  • Monitor and adjust work and testing schedules to meet requirements
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control
  • Manage human resource management and guest relations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory/Medical Technology
  • 5 years of Clinical Laboratory Testing experience
  • 1 year of experience in a high-complexity lab
  • Expertise in a sub-specialty area of leadership (e.g., microbiology, point-of-care, etc.)
