Transportation Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Services Specialist to join our team at the County of Chester. This role will be responsible for performing various tasks related to vehicle maintenance, customer service, and facility upkeep.
Salary and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position is approximately $37,744.20. The County of Chester offers comprehensive benefits to its employees, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks as required by departmental procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues alike, ensuring a positive experience with the County of Chester.
- Assist in the cleaning and organization of facilities, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Document actions and maintain accurate records, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality agreements.
- A minimum of 6 months of driving experience and some general work experience.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet usage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
This role will primarily be performed in an outdoor environment, with occasional duties taking place at off-site locations. Must possess a valid PA motor vehicle operator's license and current automobile insurance coverage.
