Key Responsibilities

  • Material Handling: Safely and efficiently move materials and products throughout the production area, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that products meet quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production team members to achieve production goals, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that materials and supplies are readily available for production.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a production or material handling role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Basic math skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency in using packaging equipment.
Working Conditions

The Production Packaging Specialist will work in a fast-paced production environment, with regular exposure to moving machinery and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required in the production area.
