Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telephone Operator to join our team at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. As a key member of our Guest Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by answering, recording, and processing all guest calls, requests, and concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and respond to guest calls, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station and process guest requests for wake-up calls, screening calls, and other services.
  • Monitor busy or unanswered lines and check back with callers on hold to update status.
  • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately and completely.
  • Activate/deactivate guest room message lights as necessary.
  • Provide assistance to guests with unique needs and special requests.
  • Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
