Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and train construction staff, including foremen, carpenters, and laborers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of stable employment in the construction industry.
  • 5+ years on a construction project management or superintendent career path.
  • 2+ years managing your own commercial projects as Superintendent or Construction Manager.
  • Experience with commercial projects valued from $200K to $10+ million.
  • A track record of delivering projects from inception to completion on time and on budget.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of scheduling, estimating, and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with construction software and codes.
  • Focus on quality, safety, and meeting deadlines.
  • Client-centric and collaborative mindset.
  • Continuously updates industry knowledge.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with MS Project and/or similar software.
  • Ability to provide a project list with application or by request is highly desired.
