Position: Automotive Diesel and Gas Mechanic

We are looking for a meticulous and dependable mechanic who demonstrates self-motivation, accountability, and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a team, possessing experience with a varied fleet of vehicles, including vans, trucks, and medium-duty diesel vehicles.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and diagnostic evaluations to assess vehicle and equipment condition.
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules and inspections to ensure equipment readiness.
  • Address vehicle issues by repairing or replacing components and systems as needed.
  • Conduct test drives to confirm vehicle performance, making adjustments to controls and systems as required.
  • Adhere to federal and state vehicle regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed and repairs made.
  • Oversee shop equipment, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Manage costs effectively by utilizing warranties and assessing service and parts options.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and parts necessary for operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including clear communication with clients regarding their vehicles.
  • Contribute to team objectives by completing related tasks as necessary.
  • Be prepared for field inspections and repairs in varying weather conditions.
