Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate automated machinery for the pre-sorting and packaging of medications.
2. Accurately count and fill prescription vials, applying labels as necessary.
3. Pack and ship completed medication packages, ensuring all labels are correctly affixed.
4. Sort and manage shipping boxes to ensure timely delivery.
5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
6. Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to compliance standards.
7. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
8. Ensure timely processing of orders in accordance with clinical requirements.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Illinois State Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain within 2 years).
- Basic computer skills and typing proficiency.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Capacity to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Preferred:
- Experience with medication packaging software.
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Familiarity with automated medication packing systems.
- Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.

Soft Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
