Primary Responsibilities:
Engage in regular and ongoing developmental tasks related to various aspects of the planning, justification, presentation, and/or execution phases of the financial budget.
Conduct thorough research regarding the financial activities of the organization, compiling and presenting findings in suitable formats, including charts, graphs, and written reports.
Review, verify, and consolidate financial information.
Perform a diverse range of financial duties in support of the budgeting cycle, assisting management and the overall financial team.
Analyze financial data across various systems to generate budget reports for internal management use.
Prepare financial presentations and spreadsheets to support briefings for executives.

Experience clearly and accurately communicating factual information both orally and through written reports.
Experience utilizing analytical principles to gather, chart, schedule, and process financial information.
GS-11: Applicants must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level.

SE is defined as follows:
Experience developing written and oral financial reports.
Experience conducting analysis to identify funding trends and anticipate funding needs.
Experience utilizing financial computer-based applications for loading, tracking, and retrieval of financial information.

Education
All degrees must be from an accredited college or university.

Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:


GS-9: Applicants must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B.

or J.D., if related.
GS-11: Applicants must have a Ph.D.

OR equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
