Lead Service Valet Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Lead Service Valet. As a key member of our district operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver on our "every door every night" business expectation and set the standard for service excellence.
  • Assist the Area Leader with training and development of Service Valets.
  • Conduct regular spot-checks to ensure safety, quality control, and productivity standards are met.
  • Collect and process same-night missed trash, identify and address problem properties.
  • Communicate effectively with the Area Leader regarding delays, safety concerns, and maintenance issues.
  • Provide waste and recycling collection coverage for understaffed properties within the assigned district.
  • Document and report non-compliance issues related to properties and residents.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of the nightly collection process during the Area Leader's days off.
  • Assist with evening recruiting efforts, including referral generation and flyer distribution.
  • Provide candidates with a realistic job preview from the Service Valet perspective.
  • Assist with presentations during team meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Area Leader to coordinate work schedules, evaluate job performance, and motivate Service Valets.
  • Provide guidance and leadership on safety and training initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to operate a motor vehicle and drive locally to other properties as needed.
  • Adaptability to work in various environments, including indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.
  • The ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to walk the distance of a property and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
  • Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
  • Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.
  • Flexibility to work a split schedule and/or be on call during irregular hours depending on business needs.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent; an AA degree is preferred.
  • Preferred experience in customer service and prior people management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
