Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, record patient test results, and report results.
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
  • Completion of a sonography program.
  • No experience required.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or equivalent certification.
