Sodexo is in search of a Manager of Sales Tax Compliance and Auditing. We are looking for an individual who excels at problem-solving and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support state auditors during sales and use tax examinations of Sodexo and its subsidiaries.
- Conduct tax research and review contracts related to tax audits.
- Ensure timely payments, proper filing of waivers, and adherence to all protest and hearing deadlines.
- Aid in the execution of corrective action plans identified during audits.
- Prepare audit protests and collaborate with auditors to minimize tax liabilities.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with internal control protocols.
- Develop and implement training programs for individuals and groups.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of proactive process enhancements.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Are You the Right Fit? We Seek Candidates Who Have:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 6-8 years of extensive experience in Tax or Accounting, including a minimum of 4 years in Sales Tax and/or Audit roles.
- Proficiency in Sales Tax Compliance, Research, and Audit within a multi-state tax framework.
- A solid understanding of State and Local Sales/Use Tax regulations.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks, track progress towards objectives, and adapt plans as necessary.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, & Access).
- Project management experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals.
- Capacity to meet strict deadlines.
- Skills in building and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A high degree of initiative and willingness to invest time to complete tasks.
- Flexibility to travel as required.

Compensation and Benefits
Sodexo offers competitive and equitable compensation, which is influenced by a candidate's educational background and relevant experience. While the budgeted salary range for this position is available, final offers are based on individual qualifications, including experience, skills, education, and training.
