Role Summary

In this position, you will provide timely, accurate, and professional support to our commercial service team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a solid background in insurance, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily electronic mail and log entries in the agency management system.
  • Monitor the agency management system for misdirected mail and activities.
  • Issue Proofs of Insurance in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist Account Managers with renewal information requests and process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, loss runs, audit requests, and other client servicing tasks.
  • Request routine policy adjustments as directed by the Account Manager.
  • Report claims to the insurance carrier.
  • Support Producers by preparing presentations and proposals.
  • Perform data entry in the agency management system.
  • Process policies by retrieving them from websites, verifying accuracy against proposals and agency management system, making necessary corrections, and transmitting policies electronically to clients.
  • Review daily activity follow-up lists and take appropriate actions.
  • Establish and maintain high levels of trust and confidence with the Account Service team by promptly addressing service requests and issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Prioritize and manage your workflow to ensure efficient and accurate processing of responsibilities.
  • Maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, colleagues, carriers, wholesalers, vendors, and other business contacts.
  • Keep documentation and records, including proposals and workflow logs, up to date.
  • Communicate effectively and provide guidance to achieve the company's business goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new products, coverages, legislation, and technology to enhance knowledge and performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey clear and accurate information in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and urgency.
  • Flexibility to assist team members in various capacities related to client services.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Applied Systems Epic CRM is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance agency or wholesale brokerage is required.
  • A Property & Casualty Agent License is required.
