Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary:
Leidos is seeking a talented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and help us create unique solutions for complex problems. As an integral member of the team, you will perform engineering functions for the project team involved with design and development of hypersonic manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing non-conformances and corrective actions for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Supporting quality metrics and trending
- Supporting quality inspections
- Knowledge of inspection methodology, including Blue Light Scanning, is helpful
- Reviewing customer-specific flow downs and terms and conditions to ensure conformity within processes
- Attending contract reviews to communicate responsibilities regarding statutory and regulatory requirements
- Coordinating with engineering and production to monitor company-wide metrics
- Developing quality-related procedures and work instructions
- Communicating with customers to determine non-conformance disposition and corrective action plans
- Performing investigation and root cause analysis to drive improvements into processes
- Generating quality documentation, including inspection reports, bubble prints, Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Special Cause Analysis Reports (SCARs), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RFW), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant work experience or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant work experience in Quality Engineering under an AS9100 or equivalent experience in DOD and have at least 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment. In lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality and/or quality engineering under an AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
Qualified candidates must possess an active Secret clearance.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge
