Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dining Services Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the food service program in a single site, providing leadership, support, and guidance to ensure that food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the food service program in a single site, ensuring that food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that staff are knowledgeable about food safety, quality, and customer service.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of income and expenditures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, or equivalent experience.
  • Specialized training in foodservice management and nutrition.
  • Two years of experience in quantity food production/service, dining/nutrition, and personnel supervision.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
