REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • One to two years of experience in warehouse or delivery operations.
  • Strong communication abilities, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively within a diverse team.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills, capable of adhering to a structured schedule.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to commute to the workplace.
  • Capacity to perform under high-pressure conditions.
  • Previous experience in an infusion pharmacy or home medical equipment setting is advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Retrieve stock and supplies to fulfill patient orders accurately.
  • Carefully pack, label, and seal packages containing patient medications and supplies.
  • Assist in coordinating timely and efficient delivery of shipments.
  • Verify that all orders are checked thoroughly before delivery or shipment.
  • Receive and acknowledge vendor orders, ensuring accuracy and proper storage of products.
  • Obtain and maintain certification for operating heavy machinery (e.g., forklift) and safely use other equipment for moving stock (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Ensure all lighting and safety equipment are functioning correctly.
  • Keep the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Safely store sharps and biomedical waste.
  • Ensure patient equipment is cleaned and organized appropriately.
  • Comply with all relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Follow safety protocols to meet legal requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
