Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Windy City Wire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials, supplies, and equipment throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality
  • Storing and organizing inventory, maintaining accurate records and files
  • Picking and processing outgoing orders, using software and paper documentation
  • Operating a variety of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic mathematical principles and computer proficiency
  • Physical stamina to perform medium physical work, including lifting and bending
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and priorities
