Salary & Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $34,720 - $41,280, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming 52 weeks of work per year.

Job Description

This full-time Family Support Services Coordinator role is responsible for providing high-quality services to children and their families in Adams and surrounding counties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing in-home intervention using evidence-based practices to help families implement solutions to problems and strengthen relationships
  • Serving as a resource, provider, and advocate for families to promote child welfare
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with community partners, including DHHS, medical providers, parent partners, lawyers, therapists, law enforcement staff, school officials, neighbors, fictive kin, emotional supports, and referral sources
  • Maintaining an appropriate level of direct contact with families per program requirements and being available for crisis intervention as needed
  • Utilizing own vehicle to travel to work destinations and transport youth as authorized, provide services in the community, or the primary home of the child and family
  • Reporting and documenting emergencies and critical incidents involving clients or staff
Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong educational background in human services or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in human services, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of community resources and service providers in the geographical area
  • Ability to maintain on-call availability as needed to respond to crisis situations
