Quality Control Packaging Specialist

Position Overview:
This role involves direct employment with a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K and paid time off. Shifts available include both 8-hour and 12-hour options.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $25.

Shift Options:
- 12-hour Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (4 days on, 3 days off)
- 12-hour Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (4 days on, 3 days off)
- Traditional Second Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Traditional Third Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Sunday night to Friday morning)

*Overtime may be required, including weekends, with prior notice provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all consumer products are packaged to meet stringent quality standards.
- Inspect labels, seals, and overall packaging for defects such as discoloration or incorrect quantities.
- Conduct periodic sampling and basic testing to confirm quality compliance.
- Communicate effectively with operators regarding non-conforming products and provide training on equipment adjustments.
- Maintain detailed quality inspection records and retrieve files as necessary.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum of six months of experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Availability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Clear and legible handwriting is essential.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in data entry using MS Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
- Strong foundational math skills are necessary.
