Taylor Corporation is a leading provider of innovative marketing solutions, and we're seeking a talented Senior Account Director to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you'll lead a dedicated team to deliver comprehensive marketing strategies for our association clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to your account team, overseeing account and personnel management.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing plans in collaboration with your team, ensuring work is prioritized and allocated to meet client needs and project deadlines.
  • Manage client finances, including budget management, forecasting, and invoicing processes.
  • Negotiate contract renewals with existing clients to ensure long-term retention.
  • Evaluate project concepts and program performance to ensure overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on new business efforts, providing strategic guidance or participating in sales discussions as needed.
  • Develop and sell new revenue-producing programs and services to clients.
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, hiring, supervision, training, and mentoring of staff in your assigned group.

You Must Have:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 10 years of total work experience.
  • Proven experience in people management and leading a team, with a demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Superior knowledge of direct response marketing and general marketing concepts, digital marketing, printing, mailing, and data services industries.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional demeanor, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver quality customer service.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to personally manage or supervise project management to ensure client projects are implemented on time and within budget.
