Job Summary

The Assembly Fabricator plays a vital role in the manufacturing process at Metro Door, an OnPoint Company. This position requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure that metallic and non-metallic parts are fabricated accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Review process sheets and drawings to identify material requirements for each task.
  • Verify dimensions using measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures.
  • Confirm conformance of processes or work pieces to drawings or process sheets.
  • Fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts according to specifications.
  • Operate conventional and special purpose machines, as well as hand tools, with precision and speed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with hand and power tools, including drills, rivet guns, impact guns, grinders, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
