Key Responsibilities:
  • Decontamination and Sterilization: Provide thorough decontamination and sterilization services for surgical instruments, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Instrument Management: Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of surgical instruments, ensuring readiness for surgical procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operating room staff to guarantee that all necessary sterile supplies are prepared and available.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain sterilization logs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members regarding instrument needs and priorities, addressing any urgent requests promptly.

Shift Details:
This position operates on a night shift schedule, providing essential support during critical hours.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current national certification as a Sterile Processing Technician.
  • Experience in sterilizing instruments and familiarity with medical terminology.
