About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team at Comprehensive Community Action (CCAP). This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work closely with our Assistant Director of Ambulatory Health and Behavioral Health, Director of Quality, clinical leadership, and HIT team to meet all data reporting needs both internally and externally. This role will also involve working with the Performance Improvement Committee to provide data as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and distribute clinical quality reports and reporting
  • Assist with training on periodic system upgrades
  • Attend training sessions (travel required)
  • Generate productivity and financial reports
  • Design and implement Quality Improvement measures with QI Director and Assistant Director
  • Attend meetings internally and externally as necessary
  • Potentially assist with orientation process
  • Provide data to all levels of staff at CCAP and/or within FHS specifically
  • Provide data and reports to any outside entity as necessary
  • Maintain data integrity within CCAP systems
  • Participate on internal and external committees as necessary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • BA Degree in Health Informatics or Health Data Analytics or other comparable degree and/or 3-5 years' experience in a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Crystal reporting and/or SQL
  • NextGen Certified, or certified within 6-9 months of hire
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of clinical quality measures
  • Knowledge of Meaningful Use/Promoting Interoperability, NCQA, CTC, and RICCC
  • Very strong computer skills
  • Ability to perform basic technology troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Ability to give presentations and speak publicly
  • Advanced skills with MS Office applications, such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with data export/import to and from various applications
  • Ability to facilitate data-driven decision processes by fully understanding CCAP's business objectives and designing appropriate data collection and presentation methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to engage staff in a variety of environments: teaching, support, team meetings, etc.
  • Provide/maintain all required immunizations and/or vaccinations
  • Complete all required background checks
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Project management - Design and implement project plans to meet the strategic goals of CCAP, including NextGen upgrades and patches, as well as NCQA and Meaningful Use attestation
  • Work with the Electronic System Support Specialist to create and maintain NextGen workflows and documentation manuals for end-user-related impact on quality reporting
  • Maintain all necessary reports for all clinical quality reporting, UDS, Promoting Interoperability, CTC, RICCC, CMS, Medicaid, Accountable Entity, and any and all other payers or initiatives
  • Assist as necessary with review and redesign of workflows within EHR or EDR to maintain compliance and efficiency related to data reporting
  • Work with Director of Quality to produce necessary reports for quality initiatives as well as any and all quality reporting needs
  • Provide NextGen support in conjunction with the HIT Manager and the Electronic System Support Specialist
  • Coordinate with dedicated staff for data clean-up projects or process reviews
  • Other duties as assigned
Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
